Many of the characters in his work are based on people the author met while working as a music executive. The author conducted in-depth interviews with convicted state and federal criminals, defense attorneys, the FBI, and U.S. attorneys. He also researched the scientific, epidemiological, and forensic details with immunologists, anesthesiologists, toxicologists, and biochemists. Although his work is fiction, the author’s research and life experience add realism to these incredible stories.
